Jack Nicklaus Hopes Tiger Woods Will Return for Masters
Advert
If Jack Nicklaus had to make a prediction, he would predict that Tiger Woods will play in the upcoming Masters tournament next month.
Woods said a few weeks ago that he is not ruling out returning to the PGA Tour this year. Regardless of the fact that this statement is very vague, it would be a grave shock and disappointment for the golf-loving world to not see Woods play in the Masters.
“I couldn't imagine in 100 years that he is going to miss Augusta,” Nicklaus said to the Sun Sentinel after finishing his round in The Honda Classic pro-am..
Regardless of how anyone feels about Woods’ personal life, any legitimate golf-lover would have to admit that the majors of the season, the Masters most specifically, would be much more appealing if Woods was in the field.
Woods has not played in the PGA Tour since well before the November unveiling of his alleged affair. He announced on December 11, 2009 that he will be taking an indefinite leave from the PGA. Hopefully for the PGA Tour and many golf fans, his indefiniteness will reach its end April 9 in Augusta, Georgia.
